A 16-year-old boy from Norwich has been bailed after being arrested in connection with alleged data theft from TalkTalk.
Police officers carried out a search of a property in the city and arrested the teenager on suspicion of committing offences under the Computer Misuse Act.
The boy is the fourth person to be arrested as part of the investigation into the cyber attack.
A 16-year boy from London, a 15-year-old boy from County Antrim, Northern Ireland, and a 20-year-old man from Staffordshire have all been bailed.
The telecoms company shut down its site following what it described as a “significant and sustained” attack on its website on 21 October, prompting fears that millions of customers may have had their bank details stolen.
