CVE-2026-18577: N-able N-central Authentication Bypass Exploited in the Wild

On August 2, 2026, N-able published a security advisory for CVE-2026-18577, an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting N-central that was discovered being exploited in-the-wild after an incomplete fix for an earlier authentication bypass issue, CVE-2026-18556 was disclosed. CVE-2026-18577 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to bypass authentication and obtain administrative control of vulnerable N-central servers in affected deployments.

N-able N-central is a widely deployed Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform used by managed service providers (MSPs) and enterprise IT teams to centrally administer servers, workstations, network devices, and other managed assets. Because the platform operates with extensive administrative privileges across customer environments, successful compromise of an N-central server can provide attackers with an efficient path to compromise downstream managed systems.

  • CVE-2026-2329: Critical Unauthenticated Stack Buffer Overflow in Grandstream GXP1600 VoIP Phones (FIXED)

    February 18, 2026

Rapid7 Labs conducted a zero-day research project against the Grandstream GXP1600 series of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones. This research resulted in the discovery of a critical unauthenticated stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability, CVE-2026-2329. A remote attacker can leverage CVE-2026-2329 to achieve unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE) with root privileges on a target device. A vendor ...

  • China-linked snoops have been exploiting Dell 0-day since mid-2024, using ‘ghost NICs’ to avoid detection

    February 17, 2026

China-linked attackers exploited a maximum-severity hardcoded-credential bug in Dell RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines as a zero-day since at least mid-2024. It’s all part of a long-running effort to backdoor infected machines for long-term access, according to Google’s Mandiant incident response team. The US government and Google first warned about this campaign last year after detecting Brickstorm ...

  • Critical Vulnerabilities in Ivanti EPMM Exploited

    February 17, 2026

Two critical zero-day vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-1281 and CVE-2026-1340) affecting Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (EPMM) are being actively exploited in the wild, affecting enterprise mobile fleets and corporate networks. These vulnerabilities allow unauthenticated attackers to remotely execute arbitrary code on target servers, granting them full control over mobile device management (MDM) infrastructure without requiring user interaction or credentials.
