On September 22, 2026, F5 published a security advisory for CVE-2026-94127, a critical heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability affecting F5 BIG-IP Access Policy Manager (APM). The vulnerability has a CVSS v3.1 score of 9.8. An unauthenticated attacker with network access to an affected virtual server may be able to achieve remote code execution (RCE) by sending specifically crafted traffic.
BIG-IP APM provides identity-aware access control for applications and other corporate resources and can integrate with authentication technologies including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML. CVE-2026-94127 is not exposed in a default configuration: exploitation requires a BIG-IP virtual server with both an APM access policy and an OAuth profile configured. Because affected BIG-IP systems may process traffic at an organization’s network edge, organizations using this configuration should prioritize remediation.

- Apple security updates fix 2 zero-days used to hack iPhones, Macs
August 17, 2022
Apple has released emergency security updates today to fix two zero-day vulnerabilities previously exploited by attackers to hack iPhones, iPads, or Macs. Zero-day vulnerabilities are security flaws known by attackers or researchers before the software vendor has become aware or been able to patch them. In many cases, zero-days have public proof-of-concept exploits or are actively ...
- Google, Apple squash exploitable browser bugs
August 17, 2022
Google has issued 11 security fixes for desktop Chrome, including one bug that has an exploit for it out in the wild. That high-severity vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2022-2856, is an improper input validation bug, and as per usual, Google doesn’t release many details about it until the bulk of Chrome users are updated and the code ...
- Three vulnerabilities in HDF5 file format could lead to remote code execution
August 16, 2022
Cisco Talos recently discovered three vulnerabilities in a library that works with the HDF5 file format that could allow an attacker to execute remote code on a targeted device. These issues arise in the libhdf5 gif2h5 tool that’s normally used to convert a GIF file to the HDF5 format, commonly used to store large amounts of ...
- RTLS systems vulnerable to MiTM attacks, location manipulation
August 16, 2022
Security researchers have uncovered multiple vulnerabilities impacting UWB (ultra-wideband) RTLS (real-time locating systems), enabling threat actors to conduct man-in-the-middle attacks and manipulate tag geo-location data. RTLS technology is widely used in industrial environments, mass transit, healthcare, and smart city applications. Its primary role is to assist in safety by defining geofencing zones using tracking tags, signal ...

August 16, 2022
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Multi-State Information Sharing & Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) are publishing this joint Cybersecurity Advisory (CSA) in response to active exploitation of multiple Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) against Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS), an enterprise cloud-hosted collaboration software and email platform. CVEs currently being exploited against ZCS include: CVE-2022-24682 CVE-2022-27924 CVE-2022-27925 ...
- Over 9,000 VNC servers exposed online without a password
August 14, 2022
Researchers have discovered at least 9,000 exposed VNC (virtual network computing) endpoints that can be accessed and used without authentication, allowing threat actors easy access to internal networks. VNC (virtual network computing) is a platform-independent system meant to help users connect to systems that require monitoring and adjustments, offering control of a remote computer via RFB ...
