FBI Leak Exposes Alleged Order for Warrantless Spying on Americans by Agency Personnel


There is a new leak from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) centering on an official who allegedly sent out an email that asks for warrantless spying on Americans, urging employees to find ways to do so.

It was allegedly sent to FBI employees last April 20 by FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate, telling employees to continue and uphold the “mission.” Additionally, this was the same day that President Joe Biden signed a criticized bill expanding warrantless surveillance under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
