h focused on securing the cognitive domain, including identifying national-level partnerships and innovation opportunities. This paper explores the emerging importance of cognitive security in the face of rapidly evolving technologies and delves into the concept of “cognitive warfare,” a convergence of cyber, disinformation, psychological, and social-engineering attacks targeting human cognition. Drawing on insights from the TEM, the paper discusses the current landscape of cognitive warfare, its impact on public sector missions, and potential countermeasures.
