Rutube involved several expert teams, including a team of specialists from Positive Technologies security center, to deal with the aftermath of the May 9 cyberattack, the website said in its Telegram channel.
“In order to investigate the attack and deal with its aftermath, several expert teams were involved, including a team of specialists from the Positive Technologies center. Positive Technologies experts have been working on this problem with Rutube employees for two days already,” the statement says.
“There is a lot of work, because Rutube infrastructure is rather large and complex, and we seek to find the entire set of hacker’s tools in all parts of Rutube, in order to block potential ways for the hackers to come back,” says Positive Technologies informational security response team head Denis Goydenko.
